So my cable internet line goes into my basement, and I have cement floors, so signal isn't the greatest.

I have an Asus RT-66AC router, because of DLNA. I also have the new generation Apple AC router, and last generation's N router.

so here's my idea :

Cable goes into Asus. 5th gen Apple aiport goes into LAN1 of the Asus in bridge mode

And then i plug the Apple airport AC upstairs, and extend the wireless.

Is that doable? Apart from speed degradation, is there anything else I should be aware of?

I have a few devices connected, not all of them AC. Should I plug the cable into the Apple AC router, and Asus as bridge in it? Will DLNA still work?
