Hi,
So I've got a new MBP and a new Airport Extreme base station. I've moved all of my music files onto an external hard drive, and imported everything into iTunes, and am now a happy bunny. I have iTunes and my Xbox Media Centre finally reading the same source material and can stream music and video around the house. But...
When I use Finder (or Explorer in a Windows VM) to look at the contents of the external hdd Music folder that I've created, it starts to list the files within it, and after a few seconds shows nothing. Using a terminal window, I only get the first 15 or so files returned if I list them - I should be seeing over 1000. Plugging the hdd directly into the MBP lets me see everything - this is how I migrated all of my files to it in the first place - but why can't I see it when connected wirelessly?
Thanks in advance,
Mark.
