AirPort Extreme 2012 Update?

Hello guys! My household is in need of a new wireless router and we were thinking of buying a new AEBS. The newest AEBS came out last summer and I was wondering if you guys think there is a new one coming out this year that I should wait for or pull the trigger and buy last years model? I know the express was updated a couple of months ago but I haven't heard anything with regards to a new extreme.

I think ac won't make it in to the new apple line until late next year, so the airport probably will have another year left in it. Could be completely wrong but can't imagine it will get updated any time soon.

I don't see Apple coming out with an AC router until they have AC client devices like iPads or MacBooks. Given we just got new MacBooks, I would guess new AC routers would come out with new Macbooks with AC next year.
