Well the Airport is a router but whatever, I'm just wondering for maximum throughput and compatibility should I bridge the Billion router or the Airport Extreme?

The Bipac handles my DSL at the moment, and the wireless network and has two external antennas so I'm assuming it will be providing the better signal although I don't know.

I use my Airport Extreme base station for its USB port mostly which server a centralised "NAS" with a 2TB hard drive attached to it.

Which way should I be going?

I would bridge the Billion Bipac and make it just a modem. Then set the AirPort up as the router on the network.
