I got an Airport Extreme wireless adapter a few days ago, and installed the stuff on the disk that came with it. I got the network set up and gave it a password. I tried to access the network, but it just says that it can't connect, even though the signal strength registers as being very good. I tried connecting with my PC, and it basically says the same thing. I tried connecting with my Macbook, and that won't let me connect, either.

A friend brought his laptop PC over and tried to help, but he couldn't get his computer to connect, either. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm out of ideas at this point. :(

Edit: One thing I almost forgot to mention was that the IP address registers as 0.0.0.00 or something like that.

You got the airport extreme base station? If everything is setup for DHCP then switch it and your cable/adsl modem off. Switch your modem on first, let it sync fully, then switch your router on.
