So my Linksys WRT54G is starting to crap out... the performance just seems to be very lacking even with custom firmware like Tomtato. I recently got a NAS drive so I want the best performance possible when copying files from my MacBook Pro to the NAS.
I'm not interested in the Airport Extreme because it has no web interface and it is highly uncustimizable (I need QoS and other advanced features). So don't try to talk me into it! So I'm left with Linksys, Beklin, and D-Link... Netgear is out of the question.
Here are the components that will be connecting to it:
-- Wired NAS drive
-- MacBook Pro (N)
-- IBM Thinkpad (G)
-- Desktop PC (G)
-- Wireless Bridge that connects to a JetDirect and then to the printer (G)
Recommendations for reliability (being able to handle BitTorrent, Vonage, WWW, File Transfer gracefully?) and speed? Range is not an issue we live in a 900sq foot apartment.
