Airport Extreme and Charter Cable Modem woes

Hey guys, I'm having trouble connecting my PB 15" with Airport Extreme card and Airport Extreme Base Station through charter cable modem. I can directly connect the modem to PB thru wired ethernet, that works...but then i connect to the base station, and it shows up in menu bar..but i cant web pages to show up. i think its an ip address problem, im not sure. anyone got any ideas? thanks ;)
 
Unplug your cable modem and your base station for about 10 minutes. Then reboot the modem, followed by the the base station.
