Airport Extreme and D-Link DAP-1522

I've been debating upgrading my current router (DIR-655) to the Airport Extreme. My only concern is hooking it up with my wireless access point downstairs (DAP-1522). Has anyone used this combination before and been successful?

dap-1522

I am in the process of connecting an airport extreme to dap-1522 and am not yet successful. Mostly don't know how to go about connecting anything wireless to airport extreme except computers and printers that have config built in.

If anybody can help I would like to get the bridge connected so can have tv and dvr on internet.
