airport extreme and dlink 930 cameras

The airport is not the easiest in seeing what is attached and not. Either way, my netgeer died and wanted to replace with the extreme. Great speeds, but the cameras will not connect, the dlink software is crappy and to begin with and sees the extreme but won't connect to it. Spend hours and just won't connect. I have a 6 camera network and not one camera connects. SO, it seems its a dlink not working with extreme problem. the cameras are 2.4g and I found how to get the different configues on the extreme, but still won't connect even at 2.4g, so any Ideas, or return the extreme for a netgear or asus
