Airport Extreme and Express

Hello. I currently have an Airport extreme running 5ghz N network. I send media to a few devices and need the extra speed. However, my xbox, printers, and iPhones do not run at the frequency. Now I have an airport express laying around. I was wondering if I could extend my current N 5ghz to the Express running 2.4 b/g. Can this work?

If anyone has a better solution that doesn't involve buying a new Airport with the Dual band it would be much appreciated.

just run an ethernet cable between the 2 units, and put the the express in bridge mode. (under internet -> connection sharing)

set it up with its own SSID. something different than your other network like "my_network_g" or whatever.
and you're good to go.

also as a note, you can alt-click the wireless radio mode list, and get more options that normally appear.

Great! Thanks for the quick response.
