I got have an Airport Extreme Base, and the Internet works fine.
I plugged an ext HD to it. It's a WD 500gig.
I set up Time Machine. It worked perfectly well.
BUT
after a couple of months, Time Machine stopped detecting the HD.
A while after that, my iPhone stopped detecting the network.
I can still access internet on my MB, and mount the extHD (and see it on my desktop and in Terminal) but Time Machine won't detect it, and it won't show up in disk utility!
I can see the drive in Time Machine preferences, but it can't connect to it.
I'm completely lost!
Internet on my MacBook, YES
Internet on my iPhone, NO
Hard drive on my desktop, YES
Hard drive in disk utility, NO
Save files on the HD from finder, YES
Save files on the HD from time machine, NO
Of course I tried disconnecting the AE base, the HD, then shutting off one or the other or both. But nothing worked.
Any idea?
