Airport Extreme and Sonos

I recently moved and was gifted an Airport Extreme from a previous tenant. After setting up, it works great with most of my devices, except when I added Sonos. Since moving in days ago, I have had added my Sonos to the network and notice that when adding a new component, the internet drops out. I have had to unplug and plug in speakers as I reconfigure rooms and every time a speaker tries to rejoin the network, the internet drops completely.

Any thoughts?

Do you use a standard or boost setup?

I use an AirPort Extreme router. I've always used a boost setup with my Sonos system and have no problems.

I've never tried a standard setup.
