Airport Extreme Autoconnect problem

Hi,

I've recently purchased a new router, I decided to go for the Airport Extreme. Everything is working well, except one thing. Everytime I reboot my computer (iMac or MBP) I have to manually connect to the network.. I didn't have to do that when I was using my Linksys routeer. How does it come it doesn't connect automatically? It's really anoying....

It should join automatically, go to system preferences | network | airport | advanced...

is 'remember networks this computer has joined' checked?

do you have a whole bunch of preferred networks listed with your AP low down? Reorder the list if it is.
