Airport Extreme Base Station issues.

Hi,

I have a system I am working on with 2 AEBS's being used. One as a router and the other as an access point. They are only about 20 feet apart in the house and both have the wireless on the same ssid. The clients computers are dropping signal every once in awhile. could this be from the access points being so close to each other? Will the laptops/iPads jump seamlessly from one AP to the other?

Any helps would be appreciated.
