Airport Extreme Base Station update and 2 on one network?

Any rumors about an update?

Also, I want to hook up a second AE Base station on the same ethernet network, but want to buy the latest version of the AE.

Have an AE base station at my office and want to install it on the other side of the building/warehouse, which is easily 300 yards away.

Probably need a signal amplifier etc.

Any advice on how to do this? Did not see anything useful on the internet.

No update rumors that I know of.

The maximum length for Cat 5 or Cat 6 is 100m (approximately 100 yards), so you will need either some small switches or signal repeaters set up along the way.

Once you have the stations physically connected, set the new one into Bridge mode; this means that your office AEBS will do all the DHCP chores, and the warehouse AEBS will act as an extender of sorts for the office AEBS.
