I wanted to be able to stream my videos wirelessly from my MacPro to my Mac Mini in my entertainment center and watch them on my projector. I installed the wireless 'n' component on my Airport Extreme Basestation, and have the Mini hardwired to the ethernet port from my AEBS. I can watch some videos with no problem, but others especially the .avi's stutter, the lips are off, and occasionally freeze. I had to hard wire my MacPro to the ethernet port on the AEBS in order to get acceptible results. I guess the wireless 'n' still is not ready for primetime. If I were to guess the H.264 encoding may stream better wirelessly than .avi's, but I haven't tried it to be sure. Re-encoding them seems like a pain. Has anyone had better results(Not including Apple TV)?
