So I was considering buying an AEBS for dual-band wireless N, etc. However, I noticed it doesn't have QoS capabilities. I already have a Buffalo router flashed with tomato firmware, so I was wondering if I could somehow link the two routers so I could benefit from QoS from the Buffalo AND dual-band, etc from the AEBS?

Is QoS even necessary for playing WoW, downloading torrents, talking via mumble, etc?

The only functionality you would lose from bridging the AEBS is the guest network. You're still able to create two SSIDs while in bridge mode though.

Can't help you with the second part of your post though, sorry.
