Hope this isn't too silly of a question.
I've been tempted for quite a while to splash out on a new Airport Extreme. I just had my internet connection upgraded to 50Mb and the router provided to me is a piece of cr@p- the range is terrible.
Anyway- anyone know if the AE is due an update in the not too distant future? If so, I'll wait. It has been around for quite a while now. I had a look on the buyers guide here but that hardware isn't covered. I've done some reading around and it seems the AE can have range problems when operating in dual frequency mode- hence why I'm wondering if an update is likely...
It would be nice if they added the features from an Airport Express into the Extreme but that's probably wishful thinking.
