Airport Extreme card and Linksys g router

Please help!! I can't seem to get a straight answer on this.

Is the Air Port Extreme card compatible wit hthe linksys 'g' router?

Yes. I use a Linksys dual band (b/g) for a mixed network of Airport and Airport Extreme with zero problems.

it works fine.
set up your router then just select linksys in teh wireless dropdown box thing.
its that simple

I use the Linksys Wireless G access point with my Airport Extreme card, works fine. Airport and Airport Extreme are just Apple's terms for the 802.11x standard. Key word being standard. Anything 802.11x will work with anything else 802.11x. That's why it's a standard, to avoid incompatibility issues.

Except Apple released Airport Extreme before the 802.11g standard was completed. If you update the firmware on the AE Card there should be no problems though
