Please help!! I can't seem to get a straight answer on this.

Is the Air Port Extreme card compatible wit hthe linksys 'g' router?
 
how about DLink???

will AirPort Extreme Card (PowerBook) also work well with D-Link wireless network router? (DL-614+) thanks!

it works fine.
set up your router then just select linksys in teh wireless dropdown box thing.
its that simple
 
I use the Linksys Wireless G access point with my Airport Extreme card, works fine. Airport and Airport Extreme are just Apple's terms for the 802.11x standard. Key word being standard. Anything 802.11x will work with anything else 802.11x. That's why it's a standard, to avoid incompatibility issues.

Except Apple released Airport Extreme before the 802.11g standard was completed. If you update the firmware on the AE Card there should be no problems though ;)
