Hi! I recently bought an airport extreme and I tried to configure it as DHCP server for wireless connections. The airport is connected to a conmputer I use as Firewall and proxy. This computer has three NICs :

1) Connected directly to the internet with public IP 200.55.xx.xx
2) Connected to the LAN: 192.168.0.0/24
3) Connected to the Airport WAN port: 192.168.1.1

The Wan port on my AirPort is configured with IP: 192.168.1.2. I selected the option distribute Ip range etc... to assign wireless clients with IPs in range 10.0.1.2-200

I do this because I'd like to control these IPs on my firewall. This will give me extra control over client connections.

Is this possible to achieve??? For some reason it is not working.

Please let me know your comments...

Regards,

J
