Since upgrading to a iPhone 5S, I have to log on every time to my AirPort Extreme to adjust the setting. What gives? Never had this issue with my 4S, it was always logged on to the APE.

What do you mean 'log on'? You have to keep putting in the wifi password to connect to wifi?
Sounds more like a setting in iOS7, not the APE.

Have you tried logging on to other wifi networks that you might have access to? If so do you still have the same problem?

Delete the app from your phone, then re-install it, and when you input your password make sure you say yes when it ask if you want the app to remember it.
