Airport Extreme - Erasing the internal hdd

I own the A1470 with 3TB and i will sell it. I erased the internal drive, so i choose write zeros (2nd option) make sure everything is erased before selling.
Now is blinking amber and the estimated time to complete is around 6 hours and something.

My question is: if I close the airport utility app, the drive will continue erasing? or will just pause until I open again the airport utility app?

Yes. You can safely close AirPort Utility while it is erasing.
