I was wondering if anyone knew if I can extend my wifi range with the airport extreme? I know I can extend it with the express, I already have one set up but wanted to expand the range more. Would another extreme work?

I don't see why it wouldn't work, so I'd go for it. Just save the receipt.

You can only repeat the signal once from the main access point. Two hops is not possible. So depends on what you are trying to do. Centrally locating the main access point and repeating in two opposite directions will work if that is an option.

Best solution would be to connect the 2nd Apple router via ethernet.
Then configure it as creating a wifi network with the same SSID.

If both routers are connected via WIFI you reduce bandwidth significantly.
