Hi.

Can I setup an older AEBS to catch a WiFi signal (from a newer AEBS) and then use the Ethernet port to connect to the network? Only for Internet, no file sharing.
 
What you're looking for is called a wireless bridge, and yes, it will work. Set up your secondary base station to Extend a Wireless Network from your primary station in Airport Utility, and anything plugged into the ethernet ports of either base station will be part of the same local network.

@Gwendolini Yes. You would need it in extend mode as there is no working join mode on Extremes.

That way I can return the spotty WDN 4800 PCIe card.
