Hi,
How do I get the best possible Hard drive performance (spending less if possible) with my itunes library with gigabit ethernet drive connected to the new airport extreme using a new macbook air unibody. My use will be an itunes library 300-600+gigs, video, audio and photo storage
I do not know the difference between a "home media server", a NAS and connecting a HD to AE w gigabit ethernet.
"In our experience, home media servers produce slower transfer speeds than your average desktop drive."
