I currently have lots of documents on my mac pro that I share over the network, mainly for use with VMware XP on the same machine although I am looking at ways to share to my macbook as well.

The only good way I thought of was to plug in a drive to my airport extreme and house the documents on their then I could share to any machine. This way I dont need to have my pro on when I want to go sit elsewhere in the house to access the files.
Main concern with this was backups. I currently love the way time machine backs up things although is there any way I could setup time machine to backup the network drive connected to the Airport extreme?
