Ok so i got the new 5th gen airport extreme last wed and had it all set up with pppoe and everything.
it went well for the first couple hours then the amber lights started flashing and i would get disconnected from my modem. it said i don't have a valid ip.
i would restart the extreme and it would work 5 - 10 mins before the amber lights go on again.
In order for me to get the extreme up and running for longer hours is if i would reset my modem and the extreme, but that would only keep the extreme up for a couple hours.
other routers around the house seems to work fine so i know it's nothing to do with the modem. it's just the extreme that seems to be having problems.
could someone give me some tips on what i should be checking or do?
also i live in a apartment where there's bout 10 other routers surrounding mine, would that interfere with my connection?
