I recently bought an Airport Extreme card for my eMac on eBay (so it came without the CD) and installed it. However the computer won't detect it, and yes, it is installed correctly, and I can't figure out what the deal is. I think I might need the CD, though I'm not sure if it's the same software that's on Apple's website. Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks,
Andrew

you probably think its installed right but its not. I recently installed an airport card in my ibook and it had no reception. I took it to the apple store and apparently you have to push it really hard to get it to work.

You're right, I had to press really hard, not just firmly. It's working great now. :D
