I apologise first for all those excited AE fans who read the title but this is very much an Australian question. They are rolling out a Govt funded National Broadband Network across the country to replace ADSL2+ as the top speed in Australia. The NBN is basically Fibre right up to the front door of every house in Australia (except a few percent of people living remotely). They throw in a RJ45 Jack and you plug the AAE in and "bang" your connected.

The AAE is reported to have blistered in at 906 Mbits/sec on tests. Noting that many other Routers (except the ASUS RT-N56U) ran around 200-300 Mbits/sec.

See http://digitaldreamer.com.au/nbn-ready-routers-10-routers-tested-for-speed/

Just wondering if any Aussies that are on the NBN yet (limited as of yet as they are building it) have an AAE and what sort of performance they are getting?
