The green light on my Airport Extreme stays green from the time it is plugged in also the lights at connections at the back stay on as well. I have tried the reset button pressed in for 10 to 20 seconds also tried holding the reset button in and the pluged the power cable in. Nothing happens just constant lights.

Cheers Colin

That is the correct behaviour, as green on the front means, everything is okay.
On the back the lights on the used ports also light up green, to show, that a connection is established.
The AEBS manual has also something to say about the lights, if you are interested in reading it.

Sorry green light is on from the second I power on the unit no orange flashing just solid green, and I have no connections plugged in at the back.

Thanks
