AirPort Extreme(ly) slow - PLZ HELP

Guys,

Out of the blue, my Airport Extreme has made my connection super slow. I ran a speed test while on the phone with my internet provider.

Direct ethernet connection was: DL 24 mbsp
Over airport the connection was DL 1.5 mbsp

obviously this drop off is unacceptable. I have cycled the router and the modem 100x no luck.

I live in a building close to campus and school just started. I am wondering if all of the wireless networks are causing interference or something. I have 2 MBP so its not a problem that is unique to 1 computer.

PLZ HELP!

Change the channels it broadcasts on. Put istumbler on your mac. It will display all the routers it is picking up and the channels being used.
