I am looking to buy and airport extreme and have seem many on ebay which are "open box". common price of about $125. Has anyone had experience with these ebay routers/sellers? Have there been other versions prior that make the price lower?

Any help would be appreciated.

Jake

Two questions I'd ask the seller if it's not described on the auction page (or even if it is, better safe than sorry) are is it wireless-N and does it have gigabit ethernet. If he/she answers yes to both, it's the newest version. As for the reputation of the seller, make sure it's in the mid to high 90s. Also read their feedback and see if computer electronics is something they usually deal in.

Thank you for the help. I usually only buy from people who have had many sales (>100). The one I am looking at has wireless-n and gigabit ethernet.
