Hi all. I have a bit of a problem.

I recently bought the newest upgrade to the Mac Pro. I have to run it from a non-ethernet wired location in my house, so I had a wireless card installed. I thought it would be great to upgrade to 802.11N, so I went ahead and bought the airport extreme.

It works OK, except that I can't get the mac pro to see it in anything but the 'compatability' mode with b,g, and N.----- 2.4gHz alone, compatability with a, and 5gHz modes don't seem to work at all.

When in b,g compatible mode, network utility indicates that I'm connected at 130Mbits/s, and that the adaptor is the a/b/g/n.

I could use some help troubleshooting to see if the fault lies in the airport extreme, or the wireless card, or is some other software issue.

Thanks in advance

Update:

I did a hard reset of the AEBS. This gave me everything except the 5 ghz modes. My transfers increase threefold in speed.
