Hello all,

Trying to get my home network up and running with the new MBP.

Here is the particulars:
Desktop HP Windows XP
MBP (less than a month old)
Acer Aspire1 Netbook Windows XP
Printer Lexmark X5470 USB into back of APE via a hub with a WD HDD
All running through a Airport Extreme.

Airport Extreme is up and running and I was able to get internet access for all the computers. I was also able to get access to the WD HDD with no issues there.
I got the printer to work just fine on the MBP through the APE
I cannot get either the desktop or the Acer to load a printer that will work. the closest I can get is when I hit print the computer goes through the motions, but nothing ever arrives at the printer. If you look at the printer under the start menu you can see a document in the printer que but it never gets to the printer to print. I just spent several hours with this issues. I downloaded the latest drivers etc. I am also trying to set the PC's up through Bonjour like I was told I would have to do it. (apple store)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Todd

Just go the bonjour route. I haven't been able to get a printer to work without Bonjour. Makes printing so easy.
