Will the current Airport Extreme work in my PowerBook G4 12" 867MHz? I would like to be able to at least use a 802.11G capable Airport card.

Thanks

You should not have any problems. The Air Port Extreme will see your PB and vice versa. I am not sure if there is a g card for the 12" PB

That PowerBook takes and only takes Airport Extreme cards from Apple, which is 820.11g. (There might be some expensive third party cards though).

They are $29.00 on Apple.com's special deals section:

Refurbished AirPort Extreme Card
AirPort Extreme is a wireless networking solution from Apple. Based on a new high-speed wireless technology called 802.11g, it enables you to achieve data rates nearly 5 times faster than the original AirPort2. You can connect to the Internet or to other computers without wires, additional phone lines, or complicated networking hardware from almost anywhere in your home, classroom, or business.
