Airport Extreme PS3 Question

When I use the "EASY" setting to connect my PS3 to my Airport Extreme router my download connection speed will be around 13mbps but when I use "CUSTOM" (trying to forward ports TCP: 80, 443, 5223 UDP: 5223, 3478, 3479, 3658) my speed drops to 6mbps or lower.... Any idea why that is or how I might be able to fix it? I used to have a lynksys router and never had a problem. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
