I recently purchased the AEBS and had a question regarding the Wireless N configuration. I am currently running it in the 2.4 ghz mode with the b/g compatible - will my computers and apple tv still use the high data transfer rate of Wireless N if it is in this mode or do I need to convert it to the 802.11n mode only?

Thanks for the help

Yes they should work, unless a b or g system connects, then while the b/g system is connected everything is limited to b/g speeds. If everything you have is N, convert to the 5GHz N mode.

Excellent that is what I thought. So for example I have my iphone if I leave it in the mode it is in now the other hardware items will transfer at the Wireless N speeds until my iphone connects to the network.

Then it dumbs it down to G speeds?

Correct, and it is only while the connection is active.

To be honest with you, I don't even notice the difference when my G devices come online. I'm sure they must have some effect, but I don't really notice it at all...
