(I posted this on the peripherals forum earlier but got no hits)

Since upgrading my MBP 13" to Snow Leopard, I'm having intermittent connection problems with my Airport Extreme Base Station (5ghz band) shared 2TB USB WD MyBook Studio drive. The connection appears in the finder sidebar but the main window header shows "connecting..." and frequently does not connect. Resetting the router is only a temporary fix.

Is anybody else having this problem?

Not sure if this is relevant but since upgrading to SL I lose my internet connection(router still says connected) 1-3 times an hour and the only way to get it back is to turn off airport and turn it back on. My router is still working fine because other things on the network continue functioning, just not my MBP. Never ever had this with Leopard. If anyone knows a solution to this please reply.
