Hi everyone,

My apologies in advance, I am sure this has been asked in some form, but I've searched high and dry for it on the WWW and cannot find a good answer to my issue. You guys and gals with the Mac knowledge are my hope, and so hopefully someone can help.

Background:

I have Comcast at home and consistently get 21 Mbps down and 3.5 Mbps uploads with the AirPort (current gen, latest firmware). I replaced my DLink DIR 655 with it and I was getting the same speed averages.

Problem:

On wifi now, my Slingplayer stats never get past 900 kbps download with the AirPort Extreme. Where as with the DLink I would get 1.5 Mbps to 2.0 Mbps showing in the stats and hence a better picture quality.

Question:

Is there some setting (like QoS on the DLink), or some changes that I need to make on the AirPort Extreme to fix this? I am new to networking especially with an Apple wireless router. With the DLink I just set up QoS as priority for the Slingbox and it was great.

Thanks in advance to anyone that can provide some insight, hopefully in simple terms so I can resolve my situation. I am sure some of you have way more insight on AirPort Extremes than me.

Thanks again

Bobby
