Hello all,

I searched for other threads regarding this issue, but couldn't find any definitive answer...

I have just purchased an Airport Extreme to replace a leaving roomate's router, but after doing some speed tests, it seems that it is slowing d/l speeds to 3Mbps, which isn't terrible, but I'm paying for (up to) 30Mbps. Here's the specs, all testing has been done on wired machines:

Cable ISP (rated up to 30Mbps) -> Airport -> (2 wired MacPros, 1 iphone, 1 Macbook).

When connecting directly to the modem, I get a d/l speed of ~15Mbps (tested on 2 different computers and 2 different speedtest sites). After connecting the Airport (purchased today), I am limited to 3Mbps on ALL computers connected. This has been tested multiple times @ different times of day. I have also tried changing the modem->router ethernet cable. I understand that there will be some slowing when sharing an internet connection, but this seems excessive, especially considering that I know there is no traffic occurring on any other computers at the time of testing. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
