Well, I just got our new 12" PB from Apple, and I installed the AE Card. This went okay, and so I took it over to my friend's apartment that has a wireless network. I logged into his network with a 40-bit hex code, and it said I was in and there looked to be a signal, but I wasn't online and I couldn't see their computers.

On the Internet Connect it said I was connected to the network, but on the Status line at the bottom, it said "Status Not Available".

What does that mean?? I have 10.2.3 right now, and once I get on, I can upgrade it to 10.2.6. That was really frustrating last night.

Any suggestions?

A guy on the apple support discussion website helped me.

It appears some Wireless routers can go up to 22mbps, but they should just go up to 11 mbps. I had my friend change his settings, and it worked perfectly, without slowing anyone down at all!

AE doesn't like the 22mbps.
