AIrport extreme + Unpowerd USB hub

Just recently got an airport extreme. I plan on connecting 2 hard drives + 2 printers to it.

Is it possible to use an un-powerd usb hub with the airport or will i notice any transfer slowdowns if i do?

If the devices you are using have external power adapters, an unpowered hub should be fine. I assume the hard drives will be externally powered?

Yes all externally powered

That should be fine then. I've read a few posts from MR members that have multiple devices connected to an unpowered hub.

thanks - just got to find my spare hub now - didn't fancy buying a powered hub if its not needed.
