I decided to move my Western Digital My Book to my AEBS for Time Machine backups to save a bit of desk space and, most importantly, to not have to eject the disk when I want to carry my MacBook somewhere else to use.

It is working fine but I usually close my MacBook at night and it goes to sleep. When I wake it up in the morning I get an error that the network drive has been disconnected. Time Machine is trying to start (after all night of no backups) and it won't work until I open Finder and click on the AEBS to reconnect the drive.

Obviously this is a bit inconvenient so is there a way to stop the drive from being disconnected when the MacBook sleeps?

Thanks!
