airport extreme + usb hd + time machine ?

is there any way to get this working ,tried a few times with no luck . my set up is macbook cd 1.83 , 10.5.4 , gigabit ethernet base station wireless n with 7.3.2 firm ware

yea. it work OTB with the newest firmware. Just connect the drive to the AEBS and setup time machine. The drive should just show up on the list.

make sure the drive is formatted HFS+

im still having probs , does it mater if the disk has partitions , both are formated hfs+ , time machine still cant see the disk . is there something im missing

Can you see the disk in finder?
if so, is it mounted?
