AirPort Extreme + USB vs. Time Capsule speeds over AC

I'm having a hard time trying to find out which gives me faster access to a hard drive over 802.11ac. Is it....

AirPort Extreme + 2TB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive
Time Capsule 2TB

I understand the AirPort Extreme only supports USB 2.0, so I'm assuming the speed to access that external hard drive over 802.11ac is limited to USB 2.0 speeds. But is the Time Capsule built-in hard drive any faster when accessed over ac?

I just ran a test on my 6th generation AirPort Extreme with a USB 2.0 Western Digital 500 GB hard drive. I got ~22 MB/s write and ~19 MB/s read.
