sup peeps !!

so, i have an airport extreme base station (AEBS) and Im letting my roomate connect to it for internet.

question is, how do i regulate his usage, like how much bandwidth he can use, and when he can use it.

I have a WPA2 password, that I gave him to connect.

any suggestions??

thanks

If you want that level of control you'll need either a commercial grade router, or to set up a Linux machine or something as a router/firewall. Per-user traffic shaping is not something you'll find in standard consumer routers.

If this is the new AEBSn, you can manually add his mac address in advanced settings and give him a time of day (or night) which he can be connected to your router.
