Airport Extreme- What is Best Modem??

Hey, I just bought an airport extreme. I used it with a 660 series Embark modem and it did not work well at all. The internet would randomly stop working for about an hour and it was very slow. I am running a MacBook and three PC's. I would like to keep the airport extreme but get a new modem. Does anyone have any suggestions or use one with the airport extreme that works really well?

^Who is your ISP? That makes a difference right there. If it's a cable company you can easily buy or rent a new modem.

I have Verizon DSL where I am and it works absolutely loverly with my Airport Extreme.

Yup. AT&T DSL here and it works like a charm.
