Trying to set up a wireless network I have a few questions:

1. Will a Airport Extreme Base Station work if I use it with my mac mini G4 using a 3g broadband card?

2. Will the wireless signal be strong enough to travel down the stairs about 25-30 feet away. And will that be strong if I use the wireless N' adapter for my Xbox 360?

3. How much faster would it be if I did this Mac Mini<Airport Extreme<Cat 5 or 6 Ethernet<Xbox 360

4. Is there any compatibility problems between my Xbox 360 and Airport extreme.

Additional info: I am not using the wireless card in my mac mini I am doing a 3g broadband card to my mac mini connected via ethernet to the Airport Extreme Base Station.

All answers Appreciated.... Except the bad ones.

The AEBS should work with the mini. I doubt there would be much difference for the xbox running wireless or wired as the 3g will be the bottleneck but that would depend on the amount of wifi interference you have. 30ft should still provide a good signal. Many people have gotten up to 100ft at decent connection rates with n.
