Airport Extreme with DVD Drive?

Is there a way to connect a DVD drive to my airport extreme? It's usb, but plain plugging it in won't work...

It is a USB port, yes, but that doesn't mean the AEBS has the appropriate drivers or even the OS to be able to utilize or share a DVD drive. The USB on the AEBS is strictly for HDDs and printers.
