Hi is there anyone who owns an imac airport extreme while using PS3. Will I be able to connect online easily with ps3 and will it run faster than before. My PS3 download speeds are kinda slow with wireless. I heard using proxy on PS3 will making downloading faster, but I don't know how.

I have no idea what you're talking about. What does "own a imac with airport extreme while using ps3" mean?

Imac from 2006 didn't have airport extreme access until the owner pays a lousy $1.99 for it. Meaning if I were to turn on Airport extreme function on. will I get a faster wireless connection onto my gaming console?

Are you running Tiger or one of the Leopards? The "n enabler" is included in Leopard.

Other than that, I'm not really sure what you're asking :)

The wireless card in the PS3 is going to be your network bottleneck - it's really bad. I would suggest picking up an Airport Express wired to your PS3 and wirelessly connect through your network.
